Lawson-West Solicitors Appoints New Apprentice
It is with delight that Lawson-West Solicitors in Leicestershire announces that we have offered a formal apprenticeship to Theanne Holcroft.
Theanne starts with our firm in September as an ‘Apprentice Legal Administrator’. She will be based in the Residential Conveyancing department, in our Leicester office.
Theanne, who studied at Beauchamp College for 2 years studying her A-Levels, joins the busy conveyancing team to support them at an administrative level.
Director Vicky Jones said of the appointment:
“The conveyancing team receives over 400 emails per day and hundreds of legal documents and signed papers from clients buying and selling their homes, this apprenticeship is not only for someone to learn the basics of the legal practice of conveyancing - with a view to sustaining a longer-term career - but also to help support our busy team and ensure our conveyancing clients receive the exceptional client care service we aim to give.
Lawson-West has not offered a formal apprenticeship before, so this is new ground for us as an employer, and it makes sense to nurture an individual who is willing to learn the ropes and for us to provide office-based experience and a job opportunity to a person who is starting-out on their career journey. I look forward to welcoming Theanne to the firm, it’s a great opportunity for us both.”
