Russell spent the first few years practising in the south west before returning to Leicester. Since then, he has been a partner at two well-known Leicestershire firms before joining Lawson West in 2021. Russell comments, “commercial property work gives me the opportunity to get to know clients and their businesses, allowing me to develop genuine relationships over the years.”
Russell handles all types of commercial property work including: advising lenders and borrowers securing loans and against commercial property, advising landlords and tenants on preparing lease documents and businesses buying and selling commercial property. He specialises in development land, routinely dealing with sales and acquisitions for developers and landowners using conditional contracts, options, promotion agreements and overages and uplifts.
Russell comes from a large family, he has 12 siblings.
