Laura is a dedicated Paralegal in our Probate, Wills & Trusts team, bringing over twenty years of experience across the legal sector. Her background includes Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Legal Cashiering and Office Management, and she holds both BA and MA degrees in History.
Working from our Market Harborough office, Laura supports clients and colleagues with all aspects of probate work. She drafts key documents, prepares Probate applications and Inheritance Tax forms, and guides clients through the process with clarity and reassurance. She has been involved in a wide range of estates, from straightforward matters to complex cases involving foreign assets, high‑value estates and insolvent estates. With strong estate accounting experience and a genuine love of making the figures balance, Laura brings precision and a keen eye for detail to every file she handles.
Laura has a particular interest in Probate and Estate Administration and prides herself on being both sympathetic and efficient, helping families navigate what can be a difficult time with sensitivity and professionalism.
Outside the office, Laura enjoys baking and gardening, both at home and at her allotment, where she grows unusual and heritage vegetables. She has been practising pottery for over two years and hopes one day to have her own pottery studio. When she’s not creating something, she’s often found navigating life with her lurcher or immersed in a good book, especially epic fantasy. She’s also a keen rugby union fan and supports Northampton Saints and Scotland.
