Charlotte has been working in Residential Conveyancing since 2007. Charlotte is currently studying to become a Licenced Conveyancer through the Council of Licensed Conveyancers.
Charlotte deals with a variety of conveyancing matters, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, lease extensions, new-builds, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and, in the past, plot sales and high-volume repossessions. In her previous role, Charlotte gained experience working within the legal department of the Local Authority and within Social Housing. On average, Charlotte will deal with between 70 and 90 cases each month, which she has been doing full-time since she became a conveyancer.
Charlotte particularly enjoys resolving issues relating to properties with unregistered titles. Despite there being a lot of extra work involved, she finds them interesting and insightful as some of the documentation she has to check can date back hundreds of years.
‘When a transaction completes, there is no better feeling than when your client calls you to thank you for helping them to move into their dream home. Building a strong rapport with my clients is really important to me and because of this I have many returning clients.’
