Rebecca is the Team Manager of the Probate, Wills and Trusts team. She is a Senior Associate Solicitor and joined Lawson West Solicitors in January 2023.
Rebecca has been working in Probate, Wills and Trusts since 2017. She has experience in advising on a broad range of matters, including complex and bespoke Wills, Estate Administration including Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection applications, Trust creation and management, long term care costs, Inheritance Tax and potential claims against Estates.
Rebecca works closely with high net worth individuals, offering clear and practical advice on how to protect, manage and pass on their wealth. She has significant experience in administering taxable estates and has particular expertise in dealing with Trusts including Family Protection Trusts. Rebecca regularly advises on the administration of Trusts and removal of professional trustees, as well as resolving complex issues arising from Trusts set up by McClure Solicitors.
Rebecca qualified as a Solicitor in October 2020, after completing her professional qualifications alongside her training contract. Rebecca achieved the award for the Best Overall Performance on the Legal Practice Course (Part Time). Rebecca is an Affiliate Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is currently working towards the full STEP Diploma, having already completed two out of four modules.
Rebecca prides herself on providing a supportive and efficient service to clients by applying a calm, knowledgeable approach to her work. Rebecca takes the time to understand her client’s needs and guides them with care and confidence.
Outside of work Rebecca enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and travelling.
