Career and Experience

Ashley qualified as a Solicitor in September 2016, having trained at a national law firm before gaining further experience at regional practices. She is a private client solicitor who works closely with individuals and families to help them plan for the future with confidence and peace of mind.

She regularly supports a wide range of clients, including individuals planning ahead, families looking to protect their loved ones, and elderly or vulnerable clients who may need additional care and sensitivity.

Ashley understands that these matters can feel complex and, at times, overwhelming. She takes pride in explaining things in plain English, avoiding unnecessary legal jargon, and working at a pace that suits each client. Her aim is to make the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible, ensuring clients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout.

Her notable matters include:

  • Administering a multimillion-pound estate which included a property portfolio;
  • Administering an estate where the Will had been destroyed following the death and a copy having to be proved;
  • Administering the estate where the deceased passed away in Malta with assets in based in both Malta and the UK;
  • Preparing and administering Trusts for families as part of their Estate Planning;
  • Advising family members where an Attorney had been declared bankrupt and an application to the Court of Protection was required.

Ashley is a Senior Associate Solicitor and a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and in 2019, completed the Advanced Certificate in Advising Vulnerable Clients. This reflects her commitment to providing thoughtful, tailored advice, particularly where clients may need additional support.

About Ashley:

Ashley is a Trustee for Emmaus Coventry and Warwickshire and Emmaus Leicestershire and Rutland, a charity that provides a home, work opportunities and ongoing support to people who have experienced homelessness.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys baking and co-owns a coffee shop.

Ashley has been an absolute pleasure to work with. It's always hard when you lose a parent and especially not knowing what to do legally. Ashley was with us every step of the way, showing us care and compassion throughout. She made the whole confusing process of administering our dad’s estate seem far easier. She is extremely professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
