Ann started work in the legal sector in 1978 as a Receptionist/Secretary for a London based company. After spending some time travelling, Ann moved to Leicester and worked at a solicitors there for many years. Ann initially worked in Planning and then transitioned to the Crime Department as a Crown Court clerk before moving to the Market Harborough area.
Ann’s day to day role is in the Employment Department at our Market Harborough office. Ann supports Director Ashley Hunt and Head of Department Kate Lea together with the other employment team fee earners in many ways such as opening new files, typing emails and documents, preparing bundles and statements together with contacting clients, the Employment Tribunal and Legal Expense Insurers either by telephone or face to face. Ann has been employed at Lawson West for over seven years now and enjoys the variety in her role.
Ann likes travelling abroad, keeping fit and spending time with her grandchildren and family in Leicestershire and Scotland. Ann travelled on the ‘Magic Bus’ overland to Greece in 1977.
