Lease Extensions

In no time like the present, having that security is essential for Commercial landlords and tenants.

With Part II of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 providing security of tenure to tenants, a sense of procedure and avoidance of doubt is present. However, for many this does not prove to be enough and the road between the expiry of a fixed term lease and its renewal seems to be a long dragged-out process.

Our Dispute Resolution team has expertise in knowing how to obtain results most favorable to you, whether you are a landlord or a tenant, we can work closely with you and our Commercial Property department to give you a peace of mind. Be that via issuing the necessary Court applications to protect your position, to defending the same on grounds of unreasonable conduct from the opponent.

Please contact our Dispute Resolution department to discuss your lease renewal and dependent on where you are in the process, we and/or our Commercial Property department will be more than happy to assist you.
