A report by car insurance company AXA has revealed that young drivers, i.e. those under 25 years of age, in the UK were less likely than young drivers in France, Germany and Spain, to make a personal injury claim following a car accident. This is despite the fact that young drivers are more likely to suffer serious or fatal injuries when driving.
The AXA report also found that young British drivers were better than young drivers in France, Germany and Spain, with only 25% of young British drivers admitting to motorway speeding compared with an average of 38% in the other countries researched.
Regardless of age, anyone injured in a car accident that was not their fault is entitled to make a personal injury claim for accident compensation. Injured passengers can also make a claim whether the accident was the fault of the person driving them or the fault of another driver. Accident compensation can still be claimed if a taxi passenger or bus passenger is injured and the driver was at fault.
If you have been injured in a car accident, either as a driver or passenger, that was not your fault, please contact Mark Evans on 0116 212 1056 now or complete one of the on-line forms.
