Lawson-West your legal partner for life
Lawson-West, solicitors, are accredited by APIL, the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Ashley Hunt, Partner and Personal Injury Solicitor, comments, “Lawson-West were the first Leicester firm to be accredited by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. This is important to Lawson-West as it confirmed our commitment, high standard of client care and specialism in personal injury.”

APIL is an independent, not for profit organisation providing accreditation to lawyers specialising in the area of personal injury law. This accreditation shows an APIL lawyer has achieved a specific standard. An APIL accredited lawyer will provide you with legal assistance if you have had a personal injury or contracted an illness or disease when it is someone else’s fault.

As well as accreditation for individual lawyers, the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers accredits solicitor’s firms and barristers chambers and at these offices you will find APIL accredited lawyers with experience and expertise in dealing with personal injury claims.

All APIL accredited lawyers are specialist personal injury practitioners and so have a minimum of five years' experience in handling a personal injury caseload and fighting for maximum awards in court. Association of Personal Injury accredited lawyers also abide by the APIL Consumer Charter and will:-

• put your best interests first.

• provide clear, impartial, honest advice about your case.

• tell you if you will have to pay anything to pursue your case. If you do have to pay to pursue your case, APIL members will charge you a fair price, with no hidden costs.

• explain your legal position in plain language.

• keep you updated about all aspects of your case.

• consider other appropriate remedies as well as financial ones, eg rehabilitation.

• not cold call.

• only publish advertisements which are accurate and truthful.
