Lawson West LLP has announced the appointment of Lara Scott as Employment Lawyer within their Litigation Department.
Lara Scott initially trained as a barrister, graduating from Nottingham Bar School and was called to the Bar in 2004. Following Bar School, Lara Scott trained at Richard Nelson Business Defence Solicitors where she picked up experience of defending serious fraud cases. Whilst at Richard Nelson Business Defence
Solicitors, Lara Scott was instrumental in establishing the firm’s Employment Law department, which Lara Scott headed prior to joining Lawson West LLP. Lara Scott specialises in all aspects of contentious and non contentious employment law, including unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, discrimination, equal pay claims, breach of contract, redundancy and negotiating compromise agreements in addition to all other areas of employment law. Lara Scott has acted for both employers and employees. Lara Scott makes regular appearances on a TV programme advising callers with employment law queries and also attends monthly advice clinics organised by the Citizens Advice Bureau.
