Press Release: Argos Pia and Bari Sofas and Skin Reactions: Insurers will deal with allergy compensation claims

However, no formal admission will be made because after detailed investigations, the cause of the severe allergic reactions has not been identified.

This means that individual claimants will still have to provide medical evidence to show that the symptoms they have experienced were caused as a direct result of the use of the Argos Pia and Bari Sofas. Symptoms of the allergies believed to be caused by the Argos Pia and Bari sofas include constantly itchy skin, burns, blisters and rashes, in some cases severe enough to require hospital treatment.
