Staff at local solicitors Lawson-West dared to wear pink to raise money for Breast Cancer Campaign’s fundraising day last Friday. More than 45 employees supported the event, and were delighted to raise a total of £70.10.
Joint Organiser Janet Edwards commented: “Many of us know people who have been affected by breast cancer, among our friends, families and even our work colleagues, so we felt it important to support the Campaign, and are pleased to make a contribution to its good work.”
Three of the company’s offices took part, and a collecting box was also left on Reception at Head Office to encourage clients to make a donation. The company’s fourth office in Market Harborough also raised funds towards breast cancer research by staging a Macmillan Coffee Morning at the end of September.
