Lawson-West’s Home Information Packs are Fit for Purpose

Following the Law Society’s warning about the dangers in not using a solicitor when compiling a Home Information Pack (HIP), Lawson-West, solicitors and estate agents, would like to reassure clients, prospective vendors and buyers that our Home Information Packs are fit for purpose. The Law Society’s warning comes after Birmingham Trading Standards officers investigated HIPs produced by local estate agents and found some contained serious errors. The Law Society has received reports of estate agents being paid undisclosed commission by search companies to include poor quality searches in Home Information Packs.
