Lawson-West Estate Agents has announced the appointment of Nigel Weller as Director of Estate Agency, in the first of a series of moves designed to expand the business. Nigel, who has 20 years' estate agency experience, joins the company from Humberts in Stamford, where he specialised in the country homes market.
Nigel's role is to develop and strengthen the Lawson-West Estate Agency brand and lead the business through the introduction of Home Information Packs and the diversification of its market. He will be responsible for maintaining service levels throughout a time of change and helping Lawson-West build on its growing reputation.
He commented: "This is a great time to join the business and help steer it through the next phase in its development, which will include a thorough re-branding exercise. I am also keen to promote Lawson-West's in-house selling structure with legal fees included, which will be a fantastic asset to customers when Home Information Packs are introduced later this year."
With branches on Uppingham Road, Leicester and Long Street, Wigston, Lawson-West was the first solicitors to open an estate agency in the Midlands. With a strong emphasis on marketing, the business is set up to maximise potential for those selling their homes, at the same time as minimising stress and saving time.
Nigel spent the first ten years of his career working in and around Leicester and its villages before moving to Rugby to work for Howkins and Harrison. Born in Oadby, he is married with two young daughters and enjoys playing golf and going to the gym.
