Lawson-West Solicitors recently left their suits at home for a day to wear the ‘Wrong Trousers’, in order to raise money for Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Foundation. The Foundation is a national charity, dedicated to improving the quality of life of sick children in hospitals and hospices across the UK.
Forty-five members of staff at the company’s five offices in Wigston, Market Harborough and on Uppingham Road, Leicester, raised £80 by wearing the wrong trousers to work.
Administration Manager Jean Terry, based at Uppingham Road and her assistant, Janet Edwards also asked for donations from local people and shopkeepers in the area to boost the funds raised.
Jean commented: “We were pleased to help the Foundation further its good work in such an enjoyable way.”
