Lawson-West solicitors are running a Poetry Competition open to adults resident in Leicestershire or Rutland to raise funds for LOROS. Entry is free and limited to one poem per person but entrants who make a donation to LOROS with their entry will get feedback on their poem from the judge. Deadline for entries is Thursday 3 June 2010.
The competition will be judged by local writer Emma Lee. Winning entries will be published on the Lawson-West website and may be included in Lawson-West newsletters.
Emma Lee commented, “Often with poetry competitions, entrants only learn who won. This competition gives all entrants the chance to get feedback on their poem and learn whether they came close to winning as well as raising funds for LOROS.”
